How can we make transit better?  Good transit service speaks to a myriad of issues that we are all passionate about.  It is about equitable access to jobs, housing, and retail.  It is about fighting smog and childhood asthma.  It is about spurring economic development along existing and new corridors.  “How can we improve bus service?”  “What roles will the new street cars play?”  “What can we borrow from other cities who are leaders in good transit service?”  Join the Downtown DC Business Improvement District for this important discussion and share your ideas and questions.

Presenters will include experts from the City of Paris, Portland, Oregon, and the Director of the District Department of Transportation.
