Friends of Ludlow-Taylor Elementary School is seeking volunteers to help with the school's library. Here's the notice they sent out: Volunteers Needed for Ludlow-Taylor's Library Ludlow-Taylor Elementary's library was renovated as part of the School Libraries Project, and the Capitol Hill Community Foundation graciously donated lots of new books. The 'older' library books need to be cataloged before students can check them out. We need volunteers to stick barcodes on books, scan the barcodes and upload the books into the computerized library catalog, and lastly shelve the books. Come check out the school's colorful library and lend a hand this Sunday, October 5th from 10-12. Can't make it for two hours, then come for the time you can! The school is located at the corner of 7th and G Streets, NE (enter on 7th Street, NE); the library is on the 3rd floor. If you're able to help (or if you have any questions), please e-mail Ludlow-TaylorFriends(at)hotmail(dot)com. We will have light refreshments on hand! We will also be cataloging library books on Sunday, October 26th from 10-12.
