Like many, I take living in DC for granted, completely forgetting what amazing cultural opportunities we have. The truth is there are lots of great things going on and too often I find out after the fact. In an effort to not get caught off guard (or less so than usual), I have started scanning for cool happenings before they happen. I thought I’d share some of what I found. Maybe I’ll see you at one of these. “Investigating Where We Live” July 30, 2008 - January 19, 2009 In this four-week summer program created by the National Building Museum, middle and high school students from the Washington metropolitan area use digital cameras to explore, document, and interpret the built environment in D.C. neighborhoods.
