Come join Team Tommy on April 28th at Payne Elementary School and volunteer to improve some of our DC public schools. Our office has adopted Ward 6's Payne Elementary School as part of the all-volunteer Hands on DC work-a-thon on Saturday, April 28th. Hands on DC will place volunteers at over 30 DC public schools across the District and raise money to fund scholarships through College Bound - a local mentoring and tutoring organization. Over the past 12 years, Hands On DC has worked at over 120 schools and raised over $500,000 in scholarship money to assist many DC children attend college.
