11:00 am - 3:00 pm

The event will begin at 11:00 AM with a Rosedale Recreation Clean-Up activity. Activities will continue throughout the day until 3:00 PM.

Activities include Capitol Hill Bikes free bike safety inspections and adjustments, celebrity kickball game, Washington Humane Society animal adoption and training, basketball games, face painting, moon bounce, corn hole tournament, horseshoes and live music. In addition, the pool will be open for the summer.

Sponsors of the event, include the Washington Nationals who will be sending Screech, DC United sending Talon, Washington Wizards, Verizon, Washington Area Bicycle Association, CocaCola, Harris Teeter, Fresh Farm Markets and local businesses who have given gifts to be raffled off throughout the day. We will also invite governmental and non-governmental agencies to set up booths at the event with information about various programs and services, such as testing for blood pressure and blood sugar.
